School Policies & Enrolment Terms

Welcome to MerLion BibiNogs Singapore Preschool – India. Our policies are designed to ensure a safe, transparent, and smooth learning experience for every child. We request all parents to read the following policies carefully before enrolment.
1. Fee Structure & Term Duration All programmes follow a 12-week term. We conduct 4 terms per year. All fees shown are nett. The school may revise fees when required.
2. School Fee Payment Fees must be paid in full at least 1 week before the new term begins. Children with unpaid fees may be denied class entry. No refund or reduction of fees will be given for missed classes—this includes sickness, travel, or personal reasons.
3. Registration Fee & Security Deposit Registration Fee + Security Deposit are mandatory for all new enrolments. Deposits vary based on different programmes. Even if your child attends only one term, the deposit must be paid and will be refunded after proper withdrawal notice.
4. Deposit Forfeiture Your deposit will be refunded only if proper written withdrawal notice is provided. Without sufficient notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
5. Withdrawal Notice (Refund Policy) A 6-week written notice is compulsory for withdrawal. Parents must receive an acknowledgement slip from the school. Without this slip, the notice is not valid. Fees for the full 6-week notice period must be paid, even if the child stops attending class.

6. Deposit Refund Process Deposit cannot be used to offset fees. Refund will be processed in Week 12 of the withdrawal term after all dues are cleared. In case of lost/damaged cheque, re-issuance fees (bank charges) will be borne by the parent.
7. Make-Up Class Policy Up to 4 make-up classes per term. 24-hour prior notice required. Make-ups are subject to seat availability and cannot be carried forward. No refund for missed or unavailable make-up classes.
8. Sick Child Policy For the health & safety of all children: Children with fever, cough, cold, runny nose, or any contagious illness will not be allowed in class. Parents will be asked to pick up the child immediately if symptoms appear in school. Doctor’s clearance is required to return after infectious diseases. School staff do not administer medication.
9. Food Policy & Allergies For special diets (vegetarian/vegan), parents must send home-packed food. No fee reduction for non-consumption of school meals. We maintain a Nut-Free & Chocolate-Free snack policy. Parents must inform the school of any allergies at enrolment. For severe allergies requiring emergency medication (e.g., EpiPen), an indemnity form must be submitted.
10. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy Drop-off allowed only 5 minutes before class. Parents must sign-in & sign-out the child. Child will be released only to authorised persons. Emergency pick-up changes must be communicated via phone call. Late pick-up or early drop-off charge: ₹200 per 15-minute block.
11. School Uniform Policy Uniform is compulsory for Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Kindergarten students. Minimum 2 sets must be purchased. After 3 reminders, the child may not attend class without uniform. Enrichment Programme students are not required to wear uniform.
12. Socks Policy Students and accompanying adults must wear clean socks inside the classroom. No entry without socks. Socks available at school for ₹150 per pair.
13. School Holidays & Breaks MerLion BibiNogs India remains closed on: National & State Public Holidays Teachers’ Day Summer Break: 2–4 weeks (May-June) Winter Break:
- 1 week
- Festival Break: 1 week during Diwali
- Chinese New Year Break: 1 week
- 2 Staff Development Days per year
